We are excited to be the exclusive recruitment partner to our new client within the multi-branded hotel management space and its Leadership Team as we look for a Business Intelligence Analyst to help drive overall commercial performance across the group and its commercial functions. This role is based 5 days in the London Head Office.
This role will support all areas of commercial through big data analysis and commercial insight. The candidate will need to be highly analytical, commercially minded, and be able to communicate and present their findings in a professional and accessible way. Ideally, someone who is naturally curious and wants to dive into the data, ask questions of it and ultimately see what’s going on in the business that others may not see or understand.
Responsibilities:
- Big data analysis, manipulation and creating bespoke reports for the commercial functions
- As well as data analysis, there will be a keen focus on the data output and what can be optimised where possible
- Analyse the performance of all portfolio properties to unlock further growth
- Communicate your findings with the relevant commercial and/or operational teams
- Provide actionable data insights to your colleagues from all teams/locations
- Generate daily/weekly/monthly commercial reports as necessary for the business
- Deliver top-line revenue projections for the forecast and budget processes
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a similar function for at least 2 years
- Ability to write custom SQL queries and solve mathematical problems
- Extensive experience in data visualisation
- Possess a good understanding of dynamic pricing
