We’re pleased to be working exclusively with a leading airline brand  and their commercial leadership team as we look for a Flight Revenue Analyst to join their dynamic team based in Paris.

The ideal candidate is an experienced revenue management professional with a background in the airline industry, looking for a new challenge. Due to the nature of the opportunity, you’ll need to be highly analytical, commercially minded, and methodical in your approach.

The Flight Revenue Analyst ensures the optimisation of the revenue of a portfolio of routes. Responsible for the good correlation between the level of demand and that of flight openings, as well as making decisions to influence demand via his relationships with the various departments that support him (Pricing, commercial management).

Responsibilities:

  • Configure the revenue management system in the most relevant and justifiable way possible
  • Control and manage the passenger activity
  • Develop position and support other services to refine the management of your routes
  • Carry out appropriate classifications of flights, corroborated by the RMS outputs
  • Develop the initial parameters necessary for the opening of flights one year in advance, in particular via: the definition of controls by reservation class, the definition of stocks allocated to groups and Tour Operators, and the definition of overbooking rates and cabin pollution
  • Set up alerts in order to detect behaviour that does not comply with the histories and settings put in place
  • Configure the group rating tool (AGM)
  • Be able to justify your settings in a quantitative, logical and rational manner
  • Carry out occasional analyses for management (material to support trading meetings, CE, COMEX presentation or other) on management choices or particular trends
  • Analyse the performance of different offers and commercial operations
  • Be a source of suggestions for levers to improve the daily management of your routes and share this with the rest of the team
  • Be proactive about launching and implementing new ideas
  • Ensure on a weekly basis the correct negotiated price positioning, and report any inconsistencies or elements to be investigated to pricing
  • Know how to coordinate with Pricing, marketing (operational and Web) and salespeople for the launch as well as monitor the performance of commercial and pricing actions
